The Sports track emphasizes athletic excellence, character formation, and the power of teamwork in a challenging and supportive environment. Led by experienced coaches and counselors, students can build advanced skills in sports such as sailing, basketball, rowing, lacrosse, and baseball. Athletes will refine technique, enhance physical conditioning, and grow in confidence, sportsmanship, and leadership, all while perfecting their craft.

Sports CAMPS

Baseball Camp
The Stony Brook School’s Baseball Summer Program offers athletes the chance to train under State Championship–winning coach Jon Brewer, whose experience and leadership create a competitive and inspiring environment. Players sharpen hitting, fielding, pitching, and game awareness through focused drills and strategic instruction. With an emphasis on discipline, teamwork, and skill mastery, the program develops confident athletes prepared to excel on the field and lead with character.
Dates: July 13th - July 17th or July 20th-24th

Brook Basketball Camp
The Brook Basketball Camp offers athletes a dynamic week of intermediate-to-advanced skill development, game IQ training, and focused fundamentals. Coaches and current/former players provide personalized feedback in a positive, challenging environment where confidence and technique grow. Whether strengthening core abilities or sharpening strategy and decision-making, this is your chance to elevate your game and build leadership on and off the court.

Crew - Rowing Camp
The Stony Brook School’s Rowing Camp, led by Dartmouth rowing alum Anna MacDonald, offers athletes an excellent introduction to the sport and strong technical development for experienced rowers. Participants refine stroke mechanics, boat handling, conditioning, and race strategy under expert guidance while experiencing the teamwork and discipline that define the sport. The program builds strength, confidence, and character as rowers train on the water in a supportive, high-performance environment.

Lacrosse Camp
The Stony Brook School’s Lacrosse Summer Program is led by Johns Hopkins graduate and All-American Andrew Miller, along with his highly accomplished coaching staff. Athletes receive top-tier instruction in stick skills, field awareness, offensive and defensive strategy, and overall athletic development. With a focus on discipline, teamwork, and competitive excellence, the program equips players to elevate their game while building confidence, resilience, and character on and off the field. NOTE: Your child should be intermediate to advanced skill level to attend this summer offering.

Intro to Sailing Lessons
The Stony Brook School’s Intro to Sailing Lessons introduce students to the fundamentals of seamanship using safe, stable Mariner boats. Guided by skilled and licensed instructors, young sailors learn boat handling, wind awareness, rigging, and on-water safety through hands-on practice. With an emphasis on teamwork, problem-solving, and respect for the water, this program provides a fun, supportive entry into the world of sailing.
