Sera Prinz '26 has been named a USA Lacrosse All-Academic honoree, an award presented to student-athletes who demonstrate excellence in both performance on the field and in the classroom. This recognition is voted on by a panel of coaches.
Prinz, a four-year varsity player and a core member of the team’s offense, played in 12 games this season, tallying seven goals and three assists. Beyond the stat sheet, she has emerged as a school leader, serving as Head Prefect and playing a starring role for TAS.
“Sera is an all-around student-athlete,” said Coach Collins. “She is one of our starting attackers, the Head Prefect for the school, and a star in the school play. She will sing the National Anthem for us before the game and then go in and score a goal.”
Academically, Sera maintains a 4.0 GPA, both weighted and unweighted.
In addition to Sera's All-Academic honor, five other Stony Brook athletes were nominated for their accomplishments this year.
