Our Environmental offerings invite students to explore the outdoors with purpose and wonder. Through ecology studies, sustainability projects, field-based investigations, camping, and environmental science labs, campers will strengthen their understanding of the natural world and develop habits of responsible stewardship. These programs promote inquiry, discovery, and connection with the environment.

Environmental CAMPS

Coastal Explorers - Understanding the Long Island Sound Environment
Campers dive into the unique ecosystem of the Long Island Sound. They explore marine biology, water quality, tides, and how human activity impacts coastal environments. The week emphasizes hands-on science, field observation, and developing stewardship.

Wilderness Skills & Forest Ecology Environmental Program
This week focuses on local forests, wildlife, biodiversity, and traditional human survival skills. Students learn plant identification, tracking, orienteering, and the ethics of sustainable interaction with land. This week concludes with an optional weekend camping trip.
