Family Weekend begins Friday, October 18 after sports and obligations, with classes resuming on Wednesday, October 23.
To kick off Family Weekened, there will be a cookout for students and their families starting Friday, October 21, at 5:00 pm. This will be a relaxed atmosphere, and people are encouraged to enjoy a meal together while watching the Girls’ Varsity Soccer match at 5:30 pm.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on Saturday, October 22, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm in Kanas Commons. More details on registering for these meetings will be coming soon.
FOR RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS:
Family Weekend begins after a student's last school obligation on Friday, October 18. Students are expected to fulfill their athletic and work job commitments before leaving campus.
Students or Parents are asked to enter a Leave Request in Boardingware by Friday, October 11 if a student is planning on leaving campus.
If a leave request is entered by a student, the Boardingware system will send an email to the parent asking them to process the request (approve or deny). SBS is asking parents to complete this task by Monday, October 14.
All Boarding Students are asked to return to campus no later than 9:00 pm on Tuesday, October 22.
Classes will resume on Wednesday, October 23.
If a student is staying with someone other than a guardian or parent the leave request must provide accurate host information in Boardingware.
The dorms will remain open over break for boarding students wishing to stay on campus. Please be aware that offerings on campus will be limited during this break.
